<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine generator that allows wiring to an operation panel and an output terminal board to be performed easily and reliably. <P>SOLUTION: An opening 13e is provided on a side of a casing 13 housing a generator 15 and an engine 16. An operation panel 21 is mounted on an upper side of the opening 13e through an upper side panel 23, and both lateral ends of the upper side panel 23 are fixed to respective ends of a front board and a rear board of the casing 13. An output terminal board 22 and a lower side panel 25 are arranged on a lower side of the opening 13e, and both lateral ends of the output terminal board 22 are fixed to the respective ends of the front board and the rear board. The lower side panel 25 is provided with an opening through which the output terminal board 22 is exposed, and both lateral ends of the lower side panel 25 are fixed to the respective ends of the front board and the rear board.
