<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To join a first and a second shaft members together after a baseline parallel to the axis line of the first shaft member is set and relative positions and angles of the first and the second shaft members are optimized based on the baseline in joining the second shaft member to the first shaft member. <P>SOLUTION: A joining method of steel pipes 1, in which a baseline 12 is set along a core line 4 of a steel pipe 1 and the erected steel pipe 1 and a new steel pipe 1 are aligned and joined to each other based on the baseline 12, includes: a baseline setting step for setting the baseline 12; a variation amount detection step for detecting the variation amount of the baseline 12 after it is set in the baseline setting step; a baseline correction step for correcting the baseline 12 according to the variation amount of the baseline 12 detected in the variation amount detection step; and a joining step for aligning and joining the erected steel pipe 1 and a new steel pipe 1 to each other based on the baseline corrected in the baseline correction step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
