<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact device capable of efficiently increasing contact pressure between contacts and arc cut-off performance. <P>SOLUTION: A contact device comprises: a contact block 3 including a pair of fixed terminals 33 which have fixed contacts 32, respectively, and a movable contact piece 35 which has a pair of movable contacts 34 arranged in a row on its one face to make contact with and separate from the pair of fixed contacts 32, respectively; driving means 8 which drives the movable contact piece 35 so that the movable contacts 34 make contact with and separate from the fixed contacts 32; a container 61 which is not moved by driving force of the driving means 8; a pair of permanent magnets 46 which are arranged oppositely to each other across the contact block 3 in an alignment direction of the movable contacts 34, and which have different polarities on their opposing faces; and a yoke body 63 which is fixed to the container 61 so as to be arranged between the pair of permanent magnets 46, and which is opposed to the one face of the movable contact piece. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
