<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance printing quality by minimizing displacement of impacts of ink droplets containing satellite droplets, in an inkjet recording device of a gradation printing system. <P>SOLUTION: When time required for performing gradation printing by the nozzle of an inkjet head is denoted in one cycle time Tc, the number of the ink droplets of the maximum gradation is denoted by n, a drop cycle required for ejecting one ink droplet from the nozzle is denoted by TD, a quiescent time set between after the drive pulse for final ink droplet ejection of the maximum gradation and before the start of the next one cycle time is denoted by Tc (Tc=TD×n+Te), on the basis of such a preobtained characteristic lines that dispersion amount in flying direction of a plurality of droplets including continuously ejected satellite droplets attenuates while repeating increase/decrease according to the lapse of the quiescent time Te, the quiescent time providing the minimum dispersion amount is set. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
