<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel-save driving evaluation system capable of quantitatively acquiring whether the fuel is conserved or wasted relatively to a typical driving method or target driving method on an express way, displaying the acquired information and instructing a fuel-save driving method. <P>SOLUTION: In a fuel-save driving evaluation system having control means 7 calculating a fuel-save amount of a vehicle 1, the control means 7 has the functions of: determining whether the vehicle is driven on an express way; determining whether a driving distance is equal to or more than a predefined value and the driving includes no uphill or downhill; calculating speed variation of an actual operation for each predefined section if the vehicle is on the express way, the driving distance is equal to or more than the predefined value, and the driving includes no uphill or downhill; calculating a fuel consumption for a speed variation section; and acquiring a fuel-save amount of the actual operation relative to a typical operation on the basis of a relationship between the speed variation of the actual operation and that of a typical operation, and displays a fuel-save amount of the actual operation relative to the typical operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
