The connector has a plug-in unit (5) that is provided with plug-in elements (8,9). The plug-in elements are provided with plug connectors (11,12). An adjusting element (10) is aligned on tapered end of the plug-in elements for adjusting spacer between plug-in elements. A lid closure direction (17) of lid is orthogonal to movable plane (18). The holding elements (6,7) are formed between chamber lid (2), housing (3) and plug-in elements respectively.
