PURPOSE: An overcoat resin composition is provided to improve preserving stability remarkably, and to provide an overcoat film having improved adhesion to a substrate. CONSTITUTION: An overcoat resin composition comprises: a copolymer of an acid-generating ethylenically unsaturated monomer, an epoxy group-containing ethylenically unsaturated monomer, and a reactive silyl group-containing polymerizable monomer; and a reactant of hydroxy-containing epoxy resin and alkoxy silane. The acid-generating ethylenically unsaturated monomer comprises a latent acid group which is an acetal group or a tertiary t-butyl. The acid-generating ethylenically unsaturated monomer is one or more selected from 2-tetrahydropyranyl methacrylate, 2-tetrahydropyranyl acrylate, or tertiary t-butyl.
