<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a developing apparatus stabilizing developer circulation by preventing leaking of air. <P>SOLUTION: The developing apparatus includes: a developing section; a developer storage section 40 arranged outside the developing section for storing a part of the developer; a rotary feeder 50 for ejecting the developer in the developer storage section 40; and a developer conveyance path 31 for transporting the developer ejected from the rotary feeder to the developing section by using air. In this case, the rotary feeder includes: a stator 55 having cylindrical space inside; a developer flow-in hole 56 arranged on the top section side of the stator through which the developer from the developer storage section flows in; a developer ejection hole 57 arranged on the bottom section side of the stator for the developer to be ejected; and a rotor 51 arranged in the space in the stator, having a plurality of blades extending radially from a shaft section, and pivotally supported to be freely rotated. In addition, a developer retaining section 70 is included for retaining the developer in between the developer ejection hole of the rotary feeder and a confluence section 35 where the developer ejected from the developer ejection hole converges with the developer conveyance path 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
