<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump module to be filled with an infusion without leaving air inside a solution chamber when usage is started, and also to provide an infusion pump system including the pump module. <P>SOLUTION: The pump module includes: a case 70; and a pump 13 located in the case for sending a solution according to changes in a volume of a space 35 where the solution flows in and out. The space 35 includes: an opening 73 for introducing the solution; and an opening 74 for discharging the solution. The case 70 includes: an opening 71 for introducing the solution; and an opening 72 for discharging the solution. Among the angles to be formed by a direction for introducing the solution into the opening 71 and a direction for discharging the solution from the opening 74 of the space 35, an angle between the opening 71 and the opening 74 is greater than or equal to zero degrees and less than 90 degrees. The opening 71 and the opening 73 are connected by a flow path 75 for introducing the solution into the case and the solution chamber.
