<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract musical sequences that better match each other when linked together. <P>SOLUTION: An information processing device comprises a musical sequence extracting unit that extracts, on the basis of tempo information indicating the tempo of each of sequences constituting musical works, musical sequences having tempos close to a preset reference tempo; a matching degree calculating unit that calculates, on the basis of harmonic progression information indicating the harmonic progression in each of the sequences constituting the musical works, the degree of matching with the musical works with respect to combinations of sequences extracted by the musical sequence extracting unit; and a well-matching sequence extracting unit that extracts, out of the sequences extracted by the musical sequence extracting unit, a combination of sequences whose degree of matching with the musical works has a higher degree of matching calculated by the matching degree calculating unit, wherein the matching degree calculating unit so weights the degrees of matching with the musical works as to give the degree a higher value between musical works having a prescribed relationship. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
