<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device capable of reducing an amount of unnecessarily consumed toner and shortening waiting time relating to film removal. <P>SOLUTION: A cleaning device 7 comprises: a cleaning member 18 that contacts an image carrier 6 and cleans toner on the image carrier; and a conveyance member 19 that conveys toner, which is cleaned by the cleaning member 18 and is collected and put in a case 7A, to a waste toner tank 16. The cleaning device 7, in which the image carrier 6, the cleaning member 18 and the conveyance member 19 are arranged horizontally so as to be positioned in an almost colinear manner, includes return means 29 for supplying at least part of toner T cleaned by the cleaning member to an upstream place of a contact part N1 between the image carrier and the cleaning member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
