<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor capable of suppressing variations in a job for repeated use and stably giving high-quality images, and to provide an electrophotographic method, an electrophotographic device and a process cartridge using the photoreceptor. <P>SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor has a charge transporting layer 37 containing a polymer charge transporting substance having a triarylamine structure and a carbonate skeleton and an amine compound expressed by general formula (XI). In general formula (XI), A and B are each selected from groups expressed by general formulae (i):-CH<SB POS="POST">2</SB>X and (ii):-CH<SB POS="POST">2</SB>CH<SB POS="POST">2</SB>Y and may be identical or different from each other.
