<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushioning body capable of reducing costs of manufacturing, transportation, and storage, easy to be assembled, requiring the small number of members, and having a sufficient cushioning property. <P>SOLUTION: A surface 1 becomes a plate which contacts with an upper or lower surface of a packed product, and a surface 2 becomes a plate which contacts with a side surface of the packed product. Lengths H1, H2, h are set to satisfy an inequality of h<H1, H2. The surface 2 set like this is folded to one direction (inward) along a side 11. A surface 3 is folded to the reverse direction (outward), and a surface 4 is folded to the same direction as the surface 2 (inward) which folds the surfaces 2, 3, 4 thrice.
