<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide furniture with a top plate which is capable of eliminating or suppressing the problem that the surface material of the top plate is easily turned up. <P>SOLUTION: The furniture with the top plate includes the top plate 1 for forming a writing plane H on a surface and a top plate supporting body for supporting the top plate 1. The top plate 1 includes a core material 11 and a thin plate material 12 successively covering a surface part 11a formed on the core material 11 and at least the upper part 11d of an end surface part 11b and allowing the writing plane H to be formed outside.
