PROTECTION COVER FOR BRUSH CUTTER AND BEARING UNIT EMPLOYED THEREIN

The present invention pertains to a protection cover for a brush cutter, which is mounted to protect a blade mounted on a driving shaft of a working die of a brush cutter. The protection cover for a brush cutter comprises: a protection plate having protrusion portions, which have diameters relatively larger than the rotation diameter of a blade and are formed along a circumferential direction to be spaced apart from each other, and mounted at the lower portion of the blade; and a bearing unit including a shaft supporting member having a supporting section and a binding ring. The supporting section is formed at the upper portion of an insertion section by enlarging the outer diameter of the insertion section, which is fitted into a hollow portion of a bearing and has a shaft penetration hole to be penetrated by the driving shaft of the blade of the brush cutter, so that the supporting section comes in contact with the bottom surface of the blade of the brush cutter. The binding ring is mounted to the outer surface of the lower portion of the insertion section and supports the inner wheel of the bearing so as to bind the bearing in the insertion section. The bearing unit has an inside surface extending from the top surface of the supporting section to the shaft penetration hole of the insertion section, wherein the inside surface has a first groove portion, a second groove portion extending downward from the first groove portion and having a first inner diameter, a third groove portion extending downward from the lower end of the second groove portion and having a second inner diameter smaller than the first inner diameter, and a fourth groove portion extending downward from the third groove portion and having a third inner diameter, which is larger than the second inner diameter. According to the protection cover for a brush cutter and a bearing unit employed therein, even in spite of the difference in the outer diameter of the driving shaft of the blade of the brush cutter, the driving shaft may be supported while the separation between the driving shaft is minimized. Therefore, the coupling force with respect to the brush cutter may be increased.
