In an instrument panel module, a decorative panel (14) that extends in a vehicle width direction so as to straddle an air bag door (24) is formed on a front side of an instrument panel substrate (12). This decorative panel (14) is fixed by welding or adhesive to a front surface (24A) of the air bag door (24) and a front surface (44A) of an adjacent portion (44) that is adjacent thereto. A pair of slits (34) that extend in the vehicle vertical direction along end portions on both sides in a vehicle width direction of the air bag door (24) are formed in the instrument panel substrate (12), and a pair of vertical grooves (50) that extend in the vehicle vertical direction along the pair of slits (34) and open on the instrument panel substrate (12) side are formed in the decorative panel (14).
