The device (1) has a plate (3) comprising a female centering implantation (4) for centering a bridge (2) on the plate, where the implantation extends along introduction direction (DELTA1). The implantation includes facets (5) along a polygonal or star section orthogonally to the introduction direction. The implantation is arranged for receiving a centering pin (6) with revolution symmetry supported on the facets, where the pin is fixed on the bridge. The polygonal section is regular around a rectilinear axis. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a bridge on a plate.
