<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system capable of achieving continuity of communication at the time of failure occurence. <P>SOLUTION: In a communication system constituted of a master unit and a plurality of slave units in which the plurality of slave units transmit a processing result of predetermined processing to the master unit, transmission of the processing result to the master unit from at least one slave unit is monitored by the other slave unit, and the other slave unit transmits a processing result obtained by the predetermined processing based on respective timers to the master unit when transmission of the processing result is not recognized for a given period of time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
