<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new human sequence antibodies against human CTLA-4 and methods for treating human diseases, infections, and other conditions using these antibodies. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention provides the new human sequence antibodies against human CTLA-4 and the methods for treating human diseases, infections, and other conditions using these antibodies. A therapeutically-effective human sequence antibody binds to CTLA-4 on the cell surface of normal human T cells. Also provided is a composition of polyclonal antibodies comprising a plurality of human sequence antibodies that specifically bind to human CTLA-4.
