摘要	<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic image control device capable of realizing high quality stereoscopic vision by suppressing the nonuniformity of luminance in the screen of an observation image, which occurs in a stereoscopic image viewing system including an impulse type display device and liquid crystal shutter spectacles. <P>SOLUTION: A stereoscopic image control device includes image processing means for generating luminance signals to display right-eye images and left-eye images, based on input image signals, and outputting the signals to display means. The image processing means divides a frame period into a first frame period and a second frame period longer than the first frame period in order to suppress the deterioration of transmittance in the startup time of shutters in liquid crystal shutter spectacles, and then, displays the same image in the respective frame periods. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
