METHOD FOR ANALYZING CELL WITH GENETIC DEFECT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for accurately and simply detecting and analyzing a cell in which a genetic defect occurs by using FISH.

SOLUTION: A method for analyzing a cell with a genetic defect has processes of: a) preparing a cell sample containing an eukaryotic cell; b) performing an antigen-antibody reaction to a cell in the cell sample by using one type or two or more types of antibodies to molecules existing on the cell surface of the eukaryotic cell after the process (a); c) performing infiltration treatment to the cell in the cell sample after the process b; d) performing fixation treatment to the cell in the cell sample after the process b; e) performing FISH to the cell in the cell sample by using one type or two or more types of nucleic acid probes after the process d; f) analyzing fluorescence signals from the nucleic acid probes in the cell contained in the cell sample by using a three-dimensional image analysis method after the process e; and g) discriminating whether or not the cell in the cell sample is the cell with the genetic defect from results of the process b and the process f.
