<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared gas detector including a signal processing circuit with a novel configuration for performing prescribed signal processing on a sensor output signal supplied from an infrared sensor and capable of performing highly reliable gas concentration measurement. <P>SOLUTION: An infrared gas detector comprises an infrared sensor and a signal processing circuit for performing prescribed signal processing on a sensor output signal supplied from the infrared sensor in which a DC component is superimposed on an AC component, and the signal processing circuit includes a first stage circuit and a second stage circuit, each of which has a signal level converting function to increase a signal level of the sensor output signal supplied from the infrared sensor. The second stage circuit further has a signal amplitude amplifying function to amplify an output signal of the first stage circuit by a prescribed amplification factor, the first stage circuit is AC coupled to the infrared sensor and the second stage circuit is AC coupled to the first stage circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
