<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication base station antenna and a mobile communication base station antenna system capable of avoiding radio wave leakage or interference. <P>SOLUTION: A mobile communication base station antenna 1 includes two array antennas each having a plurality of vertically disposed antenna element pairs, and each of the antenna element pairs includes two antenna elements having polarization characteristics orthogonal to each other. The plurality of antenna element pairs included in each of the two array antennas are classified into groups of M pieces, N pieces and P pieces (M, N and P are positive integer numbers) from one end of the two array antennas to the other end. Power is fed from one feeding point to a group of M pieces antenna element pairs and a group of P pieces antenna element pairs of one array antenna, and a group of N pieces antenna element pairs of the other array antenna. A tilt angle of the two array antennas with respect to a horizontal plane is set to a predetermined tilt angle by electrical tilting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
