Provided is a head photography assistance apparatus which allows easy and reliable photography of a photographer's own head. A head photography assistance apparatus (1) which carries out assistance of head photography using a camera (C) comprises: a retaining member (10) which retains the camera (C) at a prescribed location; a support band (20) which is configured to be mountable on a head and which supports the retaining member (10) such that the camera (C) is retained above the head; and a color adjustment member (30) which is disposed on the lower part of the support member (10) and allows correction of a color tone of an image after photographing.
