<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a ticketing machine to perform the function of reading a season ticket buying application, a student discount certificate or the like in a space comparable to that of an ordinary ticket vending machine by overcoming the problem that a large enough space to house an image reader and an allowance for placing a presented certificate or the like is required in addition to the size of an ordinary ticket vending machine. <P>SOLUTION: A ticket vending machine is provided, in the vicinity of its display unit-cum-touch action unit, with a document photographing camera for reading a season ticket buying application, a student discount certificate or the like for confirmation when a customer is to buy a season ticket or the like, and uses a display unit-cum-touch action unit 2 as a presentation table for such documents when the documents are readably held near the display unit-cum-touch action unit 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
