<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To configure a machine tool assembling apparatus for obtaining a machine tool by combining a plurality of parts with each other which is simple in structure and can reduce an installation and working space. <P>SOLUTION: The machine tool assembling apparatus 10 includes a table 30, a first support mechanism 24 having an arm member 50 which is swingable toward and away from the table 30, and a second support mechanism 142. The first support mechanism 24 disposed between the table 30 and the second support mechanism 142 is rotated to bring the arm member 50 into a facing relation to either the table 30 or the second support mechanism 142. The first support mechanism 24 can be lifted following the lifting of a lifting/lowering rod 44 of a hydraulic cylinder 42.
