<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost display device which can be installed and replaced easily and can perform intelligible notification of an operation state of a train. <P>SOLUTION: The display device comprises: a light source 10 to which drive power is supplied under control of luminescence control means; a power substrate 20 to which the light source is provided and which mediates the drive power supplied to the light source; a light guide plate 30 which is provided in front of the light source provided to the power substrate, extends in a longitudinal direction of the power substrate, and leads out light of the light source; a cylindrical holding member 40 which houses the power substrate, extends in the longitudinal direction of the power substrate, and has an opening; and a support member 50 which is provided to both or one of ends of the light guide plate and the holding member, in a state where the light guide plate and the holding member are combined integrally in a rod-like shape, and which supports the light guide plate and the holding member integrally.
