<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-install ground body capable of effectively reducing a transient ground resistance. <P>SOLUTION: A ground body electrically connects a grounded body and underground while it is embedded under a ground, and comprises a first electrode 1 made of a columnar body and introducing a surge current from the grounded body into the underground, and a second electrode 2 having plural flat plate bodies 3 projecting in a radial direction from an outer periphery of the first electrode 1, and introducing the surge current toward the outer periphery from the first electrode 1.
