摘要 PURPOSE: A method for reducing frictional resistance is provided to increase sailing speed with reduced frictional resistance by preventing direct contact of water and the bottom of boxes while maintaining buoyancy. CONSTITUTION: A method for reducing frictional resistance is as follows. At least two traverse partitions(2) are installed in a box of which bottom surface is opened to form at least three spaces(20) at the bottom of a ship. The traverse partitions are installed from the beginning of a stem to the end of a stern in a longitudinal direction of the ship. The height of the traverse partitions is lower than a box. Longitudinal partitions are attached to the upper side of the box in a width direction of the ship. The longitudinal partitions are formed into a streamlined shape so that water can be flowed into or out from the stem part and the stern part.
