PURPOSE: An acrylic emulsion adhesive composition is provided to ensure excellent peeling resistance, water resistance, thermal ageing property, cold resistance, and moisture resistance. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing an acrylic emulsion adhesive composition comprises the steps of: mixing a solvent, mixture monomer, potassium hydroxide, and water-soluble initiator at 90°C; mixing 25 weight% solvent, 1-5 weight% surfactant, 0.5-2.5 weight% potassium hydroxide, 1-3 weight% cross-linking agent and 0.05-0.1 weight% water soluble initiator per whole pre-emulsion, adding 60-70 weight% mixture monomer to the mixture to prepare pre-emulsion; and injecting the pre-emulsion into a reactor for 3 hours to obtain an acrylic emulsion adhesive composition.
