PURPOSE: A work piece setting device for an electric discharge machine is provided to adjust vertical height between a setting body and a connection jig by using a vertically adjusting bolt and a ball, thereby preventing a tall mold from interfering with the lateral side of an electrode plate. CONSTITUTION: A work piece setting device for an electric discharge machine comprises a connecting jig(13), a setting body(14), a setting plate(15), and an electrode plate(16). The connecting jig comprises a top connection jig (13a) and a lower connection jig(13b). A top connection jig is combined in bottom of a face plate(12) of a face plate by using a bolt(17). A lower connection jig is integrally connected in bottom of the top connection jig. The setting body is combined in bottom of the lower connection jig of the connection jig in order to adjust height. The setting plate is combined in bottom of the setting body.
