<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric double-layer capacitor having good heat dissipation, capable of ensuring vibration resistance and impact resistance, and improving durability under a hard peripheral environment, even if having a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: An electric double-layer capacitor comprises capacitor cells 10; a pair of end plates 3 and 3 arranging a plurality of the capacitor cells 10 in parallel, and disposed on both sides of the plurality of the capacitor cells 10.. arranged in parallel; a metallic case 6 for storing the end plates 3 and 3, and the plurality of the capacitor cells 10..; and insulation resin 7 filled in the metallic case 6 so as to cover the end plates 3 and 3, the plurality of the capacitor cells 10.., and lead terminals 12... An external connection terminal 5 is provided, which has one end portion arranged on the end plate 3 in the insulation resin 7, and the other end projecting outward from the insulation resin 7.
