<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overhead door which prevents a wire from coming off from a drum, by maintaining wire tension even when the wire is loosened, and which can save space and costs. <P>SOLUTION: An overhead door includes: a shutter curtain 18 which is constituted by bendably coupling a required number of panels 19 together; winding drums 2 which are provided at both ends of a shaft 1 and urged in a winding direction by a balance spring 24; and a wire 3 which is wound around the winding drum and which has a lower end engaged to the lowermost panel of the shutter curtain. Wire loosening prevention devices, which are provided on both side end surfaces of the lowermost panel, respectively, absorb the loosening of the wire. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
