PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for handover capability discovery between wireless systems.

SOLUTION: A first MIHF receives an MIH capability discovery request from a second MIHF and generates an MIH capability discovery response message, including one or more parameters. Then, the first MIHF sends the MIH capability discovery response to the second MIHF. Based on information contained in the MIH capability discovery response, the first MIHF may receive a handover request message from the second MIHF. The one or more parameters included in the discovery response message indicate specific technologies for supporting an MMB handover by the first MIHF. The one or more parameters may include a list of the technologies for supporting the MMB handover.
