<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool that is suitable for the simultaneous drilling of a composite material formed of a fiber reinforced resin and a metal, can drill with high accuracy, has a long service life, and does not require precise correcting processing. <P>SOLUTION: The cutting tool includes a hollow shaft, and a plurality of tips at a tip of the hollow shaft in the circumferential direction of the hollow shaft. The cutting tool performs drilling by advancing in the longitudinal direction of the hollow shaft while rotating around the axis of the hollow shaft and cutting a workpiece in an annular shape. The tips are disposed at circular pitches at equal intervals or at circular pitches at unequal intervals in the circumferential direction of the hollow shaft. In the cutting tool, out of the plurality of tips, some of the tips are disposed along one circumference going around the hollow shaft in the circumferential direction, and the remaining tips are disposed in the other circumference going around the hollow shaft in the circumferential direction and having a smaller diameter than that of one circumference. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
