<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic damper for vibration control, capable of facilitating work during attachment thereof to a building structure. <P>SOLUTION: A hydraulic damper 40 for vibration control has one end thereof connected to a building structure 41 disposed in an upper position, and has the other end thereof connected to a building structure 42 disposed in a lower end. A lower portion of a connecting member 50 for connecting the one end and the building structure 41 disposed in the upper position is provided with anti-rotation means 54f for preventing rotation of the connecting member 50.
