<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent overflow and inability to adjust concentration of a liquid developer even when residence of a recovery liquid occurred. <P>SOLUTION: A flow rate sensor 41 measures flow rate of a recovery liquid moving in a recovery liquid discharge tube 31. When the flow rate is greater than a predetermined threshold value, residence of the recovery liquid is detected, a concentration of a liquid developer T in a concentration adjustment tank 27 is adjusted depending on the concentration measured by a concentration sensor 39, and a liquid volume of the liquid developer T in the concentration adjustment tank 27 is controlled depending on the liquid volume measured by a liquid volume sensor 40. When the flow rate of the recovery liquid measured by a flow rate sensor 41 is smaller than a predetermined threshold value, residence of the recovery liquid is detected, and the concentration adjustment and the liquid volume control of the liquid developer T in the concentration adjustment tank 27 are stopped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
