The machine has a tool (3) e.g. front face cutter, sitting on a rotatably driven spindle, where the tool comprises a cutter rim surrounding an inner table (18) for supporting a workpiece (2). The workpiece is conveyed to the tool on a machine table (1), and the inner table is supported in the tool, where the inner table is an integral component of the tool. The tool lies in a recess (61) of the machine table, where a part of the machine table lying in feed direction of the workpiece before the tool is height adjustable. An independent claim is also included for a tool e.g. front face cutter, of a machine for processing a workpiece made from wood and plastic. |
