<p>Provided in this invention is a subscriber-side communication apparatus, in a point-to-multipoint communication system, that transmits upward data transmitted thereto from a lower-level apparatus to a station-side apparatus, on the basis of a data-transmission start time and a transmission-continuation period to be notified thereto by the station-side apparatus. The subscriber-side communication apparatus is provided with a logical link control unit for determining the number of links scheduled to be used, which is the number of logical links to be used in an upward data transmission upon the next band-update cycle, on the basis of the amount of data accumulated at an upward buffer unit that is for accumulating upward data to be transmitted to the station-side apparatus.</p> |
