MEDICAL IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a medical image in a suitable visible way on a plurality of monitors with different gamma characteristics.

SOLUTION: The medical image forming apparatus includes an output means and a converting means. The output means outputs medical image data to a first monitor with a first gamma characteristic and to a second monitor with a second gamma characteristic on the client side respectively. The converting means performs conversion processing of a pixel value of the medical image based on information on the first gamma characteristic and information on the second gamma characteristic so that the medical image is displayed on the second monitor with luminance equivalent to that of the medical image displayed on the first monitor.
