摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna with less performance deterioration even if the number of end faces is reduced, the number of right-angle corners is reduced and the antenna is used for transmitting/receiving a high frequency. <P>SOLUTION: Microstrip patch antennas 11 and 12 include: patch antenna portions 10 formed on upper faces of dielectric substrates 2 where bottom boards 4 of conductors are formed on lower faces by the conductors; and feeder circuits 5 connected to the patch antenna portions 10. Connection of the feeder circuit 5 to the patch antenna portion 10 is offset to one of end sides from a center of one side in the patch antenna portion 10, to which the feeder circuit 5 is connected, by a prescribed distance with which transmission loss of the antenna becomes a prescribed value or below. The prescribed distance may be set to 0.2 to 0.7 when the distance from the center of one side of the patch antenna portion 10, to which the feeder circuit 5 is connected, to one end of the patch antenna portion 10 is set to 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
