<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for a highly sensitive and accurate detection of EML4-ALK fusion gene that may serve as a lung cancer marker in a very small amount of a sample that may have damage on a specimen like a paraffin embedded specimen (nucleic acid, and particularly, mRNA), and to provide a primer and kit for use in the method. <P>SOLUTION: The detection method includes: (A) a step of preparing a template DNA from a sample; and (B) a step of carrying out amplification within an amplifiable base sequence region by using a combination of amplification primers for amplification in a region including a fusion point with respect to the template DNA. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
