<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an onboard communication instrument that can integrate functional parts of a remote keyless system and a tire pneumatic pressure monitoring system and can perform switching of functions based on a vehicle condition. <P>SOLUTION: The onboard communication instrument 20 is used in common by a remote keyless system 3 and a tire pneumatic pressure monitoring system 4, and can operate as one functional part among these systems. The onboard communication instrument 20 includes: a door opening and closing obtaining part 21d which obtains information on opening and closing of a door; an ignition condition obtaining part 21e which obtains an on-off condition of the ignition; a vehicle condition determination part 21c which determines in which of an idle condition or a traveling condition the vehicle 2 is, based on the door opening and closing history and an on-off condition of the ignition; and a control function switching part 21b which takes the function of the remote keyless system 3, when determining that the vehicle 2 is in the stop condition, and switches to the function of the tire pneumatic pressure monitoring system 4, when determining that the vehicle 2 is in the traveling condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
