<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the fixing strength of a connector for a substrate to the substrate without causing enlargement of a housing, or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The connector for a substrate comprises a housing 20 to which a harness side connector 50 is fitted from the front, an attachment groove 30 formed in a side surface of the housing 20, and a fixing metal fitting 40 composed of a metal plate material and having a plate surface being attached to the attachment groove 30 along the side surface of the housing 20 and a lower end being fixed to a substrate P. On a side edge of the fixing metal fitting 40, stretching side stopping parts 43, 45 stretching sideward along the plate surface, and a bending side stopping part 44 bending at substantially right angle to the surface side of the plate surface are provided vertically side by side. The attachment groove 30 is provided with receiving surfaces 35, 36, 38 which abut against the stretching side stopping parts 43, 45 and the bending side stopping part 44 and regulate downward movement thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
