TEMPERATURE CONTROL METHOD OF HEAT FIXING DEVICE, HEAT FIXING DEVICE, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain constant fixing quality by achieving a desired post-fixing recording medium temperature by improving an algorithm of a difference method for calculating the post-fixing recording medium temperature and using the post-fixing recording medium temperature obtained by the calculation.

SOLUTION: In a temperature control method of a heat fixing device which achieves a desired post-fixing recording medium temperature by using the post-fixing recording medium temperature obtained by calculation without directly measuring the post-fixing recording medium temperature, the calculation of the post-fixing recording medium temperature is divided into calculation performed prior to a print start time and calculation performed in real time during printing.
