<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a controlled object to perform two or more mutually related functions (operations) by seamless (a series of) operations of a user. <P>SOLUTION: A detection part arranged in an input device outputs signals corresponding to distances L1, L2 from an indication body 41 to the detection surface of the detection part.
