<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily confirm a selection system which is an encryption system selected in a selection processing. <P>SOLUTION: A confirmation device uses a combination of optional encryption systems as the encryption system supported by the own device, and executes a selection processing, between the own device and an optional server to be communicated through encryption communication, which selects an encryption system to be used in the encryption communication between the optional server and the own device.
