<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passing vehicle monitoring system and vehicle monitoring cameras which can accurately recognize passing vehicles on a road, be easily installed, analyze a running state for each vehicle without concentrating a load, and allow a driver to easily realize the presence of a still object. <P>SOLUTION: A passing vehicle monitoring system 1 comprises a plurality of monitoring cameras 2 which are connected in a daisy chain manner and photograph vehicle passing conditions, and a center device 4 connected to the plurality of monitoring cameras. Each of the monitoring cameras 2 comprises: a plurality of photographing sections 31; a spotlight 24; a solid measuring section 33 for generating distance image data from a plurality of images; a detection processing section P1 for detecting the still object based on the distance image; an additional processing section Q1 for outputting a light lighting signal to irradiate the still object with light of the spotlight 24; and a light controlling section 41 for controlling to change an irradiation position of the spotlight 24 to a position of the still object based on the light lighting signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
