The present invention relates to an apparatus for installing an optical fiber unit, and more particularly, to an apparatus for installing an optical fiber unit by blowing compressed air to a tube and simultaneously feeding the optical fiber unit into the tube. The apparatus for installing an optical fiber unit of the present invention has a structure capable of effectively detecting problematic conditions during installation and differentially applying driving mechanisms in accordance with the detected conditions.
