This invention involves the synthesis and fabrication of long lasting fragranced chitosan. The chemical synthesis and structures of chitosan derivatives in various forms, e.g. nano/microspheres, colloidal suspension of nano/microspheres, etc., are disclosed. Said chitosan derivatives are capable to slowly release aldehydes and/or ketones, thus suitable for fragrance controlled release materials. |
